Eco-Responsibility
We attach great importance to the origin and quality of the products we use. Since 2022, all raw material purchases have been sourced in France or the EU.
All our products are manufactured in our workshop in Courthézon, between Orange and Avignon, and the same manufacturing teams are also dispatched to installation sites.
Durability and reparability
Our sprung floors are designed and built to last: the first fixed and portable Spectat sprung floors, sold over twenty years ago, are still in use!
We also have the expertise to move, repair or modify our sprung floors at our customers' request.
Chipboard slabs (Saltis and Salti floors)
They are sourced exclusively from French manufacturer Pantyr, which uses only Landes pine.

Plywood panels (Aéris flooring)
Since 2018 we have definitively stopped using exotic woods, for plywood panels in Spain based on poplar and eucalyptus from PEFC-managed forests in Spain, Portugal and France.

Parquet finishes (Saltis and Attivita floors)
Made in Sweden with Scandinavians' renowned attention to environmental concerns.
Raw materials are sourced from sustainably managed forests. The 5 coats of varnish are applied in the factory to avoid any waste on site, and are solvent-free.

Damping blocks made of ½ tennis balls
Since 2022, all of SPECTAT 's sprung floors have been made exclusively from end-of-life tennis balls collected from French tennis clubs and associations.
SPECTAT has entered into a partnership with the French Tennis Federation (FFT ) to become a recycling channel for their used tennis balls. In this way, we will be able to recycle a waste product that would otherwise be very difficult to recycle on a long-term basis, with a volume of over 40,000 tennis balls reused each year.
This development has earned Spectat several mentions in the regional and national press, and the "Company of the Year" trophy at the "Rencontre de l'économie La Provence 2022" awards.
Workshop and site waste treatment
Our workshop waste is sorted and sent to a waste disposal center for recycling. Site waste and remnants are collected in their entirety by our teams for selective processing, back at our workshop.
Wooden profiles, skirting boards, dance bars
All wooden profiles are manufactured by the Roux joinery, 1km from our workshop.

Finishing paint and varnish
We systematically use Disbon primer and paint from Belgian manufacturer Caparol: highly resistant, solvent-free and water-thinnable, it allows the room to be used quickly without residual solvent odors. When a varnish is required, we also use a water-based varnish from the same brand.
